Notice of weekend road closures – B4525

The road will be closed from the roundabout on the Greatworth T/B4525 to the turning for Greatworth village, as illustrated on the map above. In addition, between the two weekend closures, some overnight closures will be required.

The location of the traffic lights currently on the B4525 will change location following the road closures, as work in the area processes.  While I have included a 5-week window of time for these traffic lights, they may not be required every day and will be removed when not needed.

Weekend road closure: 8pm Friday 17 April to 6am Monday 20 April 2026.

Overnight road closures: 20 April, 21 April and 22 April 2026, 8pm to 6am.

Weekend road closure: 8pm Friday 24 April to 6am Monday 27 April 2026.

If we are unable to complete these works due to poor weather or programme delay, we will require a closure on these contingency dates: 8pm Friday 8 May to 6am Monday 11 May 2026.
