Help Keep Helmdon Safe

The Community Speed Watch (CSW) team will be out and about in the village over the coming weeks, and we’re looking for a few more friendly faces to join the squad!

​Why join us?

​The goal isn’t to “catch” people—most of us don’t even realize when our speed creeps up. This is purely an educational exercise to keep our streets safe for everyone. Importantly, these sessions do not result in fines or prosecutions; they are about awareness and safety for our neighbors.

​How it works:

• ​Easy Training: Just a short video you can watch from the comfort of your sofa.
• ​Zero Cost: All equipment is provided—you simply need to bring a smile!
• ​Total Flexibility: Sessions are just one hour. We will run about four a week across three different areas in the village. You can do as many (or as few) as you like.
