Helmdon Local History Group – AGM and Talk
To anyone interested in our local history…. You are invited to our AGM and Talk on Tuesday 20 October 2026. As in previous years, we aim to quickly complete the formal AGM part.
Scheduled: 20 October 2026 - 19:45 to 21:30
The Talk will be “LOCAL BOYS SAVE THE DAY” presented by Chris Bazeley. This illustrated talk is about an aspect of D-Day where boys who enlisted in Oxon & Bucks ensured the success of the day. Free tea, coffee and biscuits will be served after the talk.
Venue is Helmdon Reading Room, 20 Church Street, NN13 5QJ.
Doors open at 7:45pm with the AGM starting at 8pm.
Event is free for our 2025-2026 members, while non-member charge is £5.
