Helmdon Parish Council is seeking a professional and organised individual to fill the role of Clerk to the Council. This position serves as the council’s primary professional officer, providing administrative management, financial oversight, and objective advice to ensure effective decision-making.

Position Overview
Hours: 11 hours per week, flexible, working from home.
Salary: £16.35 – £17.85 per hour (LC2, SCP 18-23, pay award pending), plus a 5% employer pension contribution.
Requirements: Candidates must be computer literate (Email, Excel, and Word) with excellent communication skills. Professional standards and integrity are prioritised over specific sector experience.
Training: Full training is provided, and the successful candidate will be supported to obtain the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CILCA).
