Compost Giveaway – Phillip Ward, 01 May 2024

Some of you have been asking whether the Blackpits Compost Giveaway which was cancelled on 30 March because of bad weather would be reinstated. I have checked with Material Change, who operate the site, and they have confirmed that unfortunately, because this is now peak composting season, there is not enough free space on the site to be able to invite people to collect compost safely and therefore they will not be re-fixing the event this year. They are planning on next year’s event around Easter time.
