Nominations are now closed for the parish council elections. There are six people nominated for the nine places: Simon Harris, Liz Hart, John Marchant, Danny Moody, John Plunkett, and Dave Shepherd. That means there are three places to fill at the new council’s first meeting on Wednesday 7 May 2025. If you would be interested in taking one of the three remaining places, simply email the Clerk to the Council, Kirsty Buttle, at clerk@helmdonparishcouncil.gov.uk by 1 May 2025 and you will be sent all the details. Being a parish councillor only takes an hour or two per week and is a great way to give something back to the community. Join the team, help do great things for the community!
