Introduction

The Climate and Nature Champion (2026-2027) is Councillor Leigh Sparrow.

This is a WNC (West Northants Council) and NCALC (Northamptonshire County Association of Local Councils) initiative empowering parish and town councils to lead environmental and biodiversity efforts within their communities. The aim is to achieve climate goals at a grassroots level including identifying local ecosystems which can be protected or restored, and promoting best practices and local projects. Biodiversity Projects

A wildflower planting trial has begun on Station Road Green. The [Parish] Council is seeking further ideas for nature-based initiatives – reported at Annual Village Meeting 2026.
